Objective / purpose of the job

• You are responsible for the professional development of the strategic topic of cyber security and the active participation in the strategic positioning of TÜViT on an international level.
• Your tasks include the expansion of existing and development of new standards/specifications in the area of IT security.
• You do technical analysis and evaluation (feasibility) of extended and new services as technical input for product managers.
• You participate in working groups and standardization committees (e.g. ISO, CENELEC, ETSI, UNECE, Car2Car, ENISA EG)
• You have the link/umbrella function for overarching standards / specifications.
• You take on the task of advising the TÜViT management board and technical representatives (internal/external)
• You are acting nationally and internationally and represent TÜViT at conferences, expert meetings, congresses, symposia as well as in committees and associations.

Main tasks

• You participate in the identification and evaluation of new market trends and topics in the area of IT security architecture / standardization.
• You help to specify creative, marketable solutions in the field of IT security architecture.
• You support the expansion of networks with authorities, agencies, manufacturers, operators and associations.
• You will provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to employees and technical support to sales; advisor to staff and clients.

Requirement profile / Qualification

• You need a master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security.
• You should have suitable experience in IT Security.

Required professional and business skills (incl. language skills)

• You have sound technical knowledge of standards/specifications such as Common Criteria/Protection Profiles, ENISA/CSA, EUCC, EU5G, FIPS-140.
• You should know the relationships and overlaps of numerous IT security standards and guidelines with each other and can explain them.
• You have sound IT security industry knowledge in e.g. the automotive, biometrics, energy, eHealth, network devices environment.
• You have good networking abilities in or with standardization institutions (e.g. ISO, CENELEC, ETSI, UNECE, Car2Car, ENISA).
• You also have comprehensive experience in embedded security evaluation, forensic technology, risk management, fraud investigation, security operation, security products development.
• You should be business fluent in written and spoken English (at least level C1).
