Technology surrounds us in our daily lives, but the most powerful ideas of computers go beyond the sleek silver containers and glowing boxes.

What are the stories we tell about computers and technology? How do they shape our understanding of the world? In this dazzlingly interdisciplinary talk, author and illustrator Linda Liukas shows how we can crawl inside a computer, play with an algorithm and imagine a more hopeful relationship with our technology.

Today there’s some crazy hype around generative AI. It can feel like magic alien technology that was gifted to us. That’s not the case (obviously).

This keynote will help the audience understand modern generative AI in the broader context of the last few decades of AI development. At the end of the session, the attendance will gain clarity on what modern AI can do, what is hype and what is not, and shed some light on the opportunities and threats ahead of us.

Workshop "Becoming an AI Company"

Becoming an AI Company - behind the Scenes of an AI Transformation.

What does it take to integrate AI into a project? And what does it to turn an entire organization into an AI company? These are the questions we’ll address in this workshop. I will bring practical case studies of how different companies successfully led AI initiatives in their organization, and highlight the key areas to focus on to do the same. The workshop will be highly interactive: the audience will be presented with business cases they need to solve, and open questions we’ll discuss together.

(Workshop host: Gianluca Mauro, max. 40 participants)

With Venture Clienting, we offer business units an easy and guided access into the world of startups to solve problems as well as to develop new service offerings.
