To ensure the protection of sensitive data, hardware devices are used as security anchors in high-security products such as passports, but also in the Internet of Things (IoT) or automotive sector. TÜViT's IT security experts test these components in accordance with recognized international security standards and carry out the necessary penetration tests in the company's own hardware test laboratory. You will have the following responsibilities:

• You will strengthen our team in the analysis of hardware products (e.g. smart cards, systems-on-chip) as well as associated firmware as used in IT security applications.
• You will investigate complex facts and set priorities.
• You will be responsible for analyzing product security architectures and deriving attack vectors.
• You will support our lab team in the implementation and execution of practical tests.
• You will evaluate the analysis and test results according to international security criteria.

• You have a university degree in a STEM field (B. Sc., M. Sc. or PhD).
• You are interested in topics related to the (non-)security of IT products.
• You have a general understanding of IT security and ideally knowledge in the field of electrical engineering.
• You enjoy communicating in a team environment and have good English language skills (written and spoken).
