Head of Seismic Operations (m/f/d)

• You are responsible for the strategic management of the business segment as well as the sales activities.
• You take responsibility for the seismic survey design, contractor selection and project planning as well as operations management and supervision and the acquisition of major international projects.
• You undertake detailed project planning, risk assessment and resource planning for all operational and safety aspects of the work.
• You provide technical consultancy for the asset teams in all seismic acquisition techniques.
• You monitor compliance with HSE policies and procedures.

• Degree (master’s degree or diploma) in geology, physics or in another relevant engineering discipline

• Profound knowledge in the processing and reprocessing of seismic data

• Significant experience in 2D/3D seismic and survey design/planning, operations and sales
• Experience in preparing offers and familiar with ropes and offer procedures of oil and gas markets
• Knowledge of HSE and quality management standards and regulations (NEBOSH, SCC)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English as well as in German in dealing with various internal and external stakeholders
• Strong personnel management skills and enjoy organizing the technical mobilization of field crews and leading a team to success
