TÜV NORD China supported COSCO SHIPPING with supervision services for 11 ship-to-shore cranes, 32 automated rail mounted gantry cranes and one unit of slewing crane equipment in the manufacturing process in China and the final acceptance process at the port of Abu Dhabi. A TÜV NORD team has audited Bureau Veritas in Cameroon. To save time and money on all sides, the audit was executed entirely remotely by a Skype meeting in combination with e-mail correspondence, data exchange as well as video conferences.
