Welcome to our Innovation Lab!
On this page you can find a range of information on our Group initiative "#GoNORD - Innovation by Everyone". What do we want to achieve? It's quite simple: to attract employees like you who want to actively work on new customer products and business models. You talk to your internal and external customers every day - and you know their expectations and wishes. This can lead to innovations and services that you develop by yourself, following the motto: Innovations concern us all! By the way: You don't need any previous experience, just join in, even if you work at smaller sites, for example. Work either on a new digital platform or completely analog with a "kickbox". What exactly is behind it - you can also find out on this website.
Trying out ideas by yourself like in a laboratory, having fun developing them and testing how they can be turned into a service - that's #GoNORD.

MS Teams
Work with your partners or in other internal groups – in MS Teams you can pursue joint projects, work together without hierarchies and organise processes – with one common goal: communication and exchange with each other.

Masterplan
Our digital learning platform – the individually tailored content available there is open to all employees in the Group. It is also available as an app on your mobile phone so that you can access it anywhere and at any time.

Kickbox
After brainstorming comes implementation: With the Kickbox you work like in a laboratory, put the ideas into practice and develop them further. In this way, you turn your ideas into processes/products/services ready for implementation.

Innovation platform
On this digital innovation platform, every employee is empowered to participate and contribute his or her own ideas. This platform controls the entire innovation process and creates transparency about the projects in the Group until they are realised. After all, what would an idea be without its implementation?




Digital Academy
The Digital Academy enables managers and employees to actively shape the digital transformation. The topics are corporate culture, organisation and working methods in the digital age.

Pitch Event
This approach has become established: At the pitch event, employees and their projects are given a stage on which the ideas are discussed, publicised within the Group and evaluated by the internal jury. In this way, people can learn from each other and develop together.

What is actually different with #GoNORD?
#GoNORD complements innovation tools where none currently exist. It connects the existing innovation areas, innovation offensives and the Digital Academy with all employees.
Is #GoNORD just another project?
#GoNORD is planned as a long-term initiative, ensuring visibility, knowledge transfer, networking and transparency so that potential barriers are removed.
What will happen next?
Microsoft Teams and Masterplan are already available for you. The kickbox will initially be tried out on 23 March 2021 in form of a mini-kickbox event. MS Teams




Who will support me with Microsoft Teams?
We have different ways to help you get the best out of Microsoft Teams: If you have technical questions, you can contact the IT service line as usual. If it's more about the application and best practices, you can turn to the Champions-Community. You can also find answers to many questions in the TNG-Teams-Howto-channel, as well as learning videos and the Teams landing page.
Masterplan




What topics are covered by Masterplan?
Masterplan addresses topics related to digitalisation or leadership. The learning courses are classified according to the following topic groups: Data & Law, Digital Product Development, (International) Events, Leadership and Human Resources, and Marketing and New Technologies. Kickbox




Which online training tool is used in the kickbox
The implementation of ideas takes place via the online tool "Adobe Kickbox" and cannot be compared to conventional training. The special feature of the process is that all participants receive a so-called "kickbox" that contains various tools that can be used to work independently. In this way, innovative ideas can be implemented step by step.
Innovation platform




When will the innovation platform be launched and who can participate?
The innovation platform will start in a pilot phase in spring 2021 for six months, during which up to 1500 employees across the Group and from all divisions can participate. Before this phase starts, all employees will be reminded via our different channels to participate if they are interested and to apply for the pilot phase.
For what do we need the innovation platform?
We are convinced that the innovation platform is a great way to enable participation in innovations and to make exciting ideas from the entire TÜV NORD GROUP visible. Even without your own suggestions, you can be inspired on the platform and contribute your expertise to different topics.
