Expanding knowledge – achieving success!

TÜV HELLAS is continuing the training courses related to the New General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with great success.

The GDPR (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA). It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA. GDPR is having a significant impact on the approach of businesses to data privacy compliance.

It is worth noting that more than 850 delegates in total have thus far attended the training programmes (open-scheduled and in-house) that cover the theoretical and practical knowledge of the European Data Protection framework.

An analysis reveals that 600 participants attended the one-day training course entitled “The business impact of the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679”, and about 250 participants attended the three-day training course for Data Protection Officers (DPO). The idea behind this three-day seminar is to initiate public and private sector officials into regulation 2016/679, which came into force across Europe on 25.5.2018.
