Since 8 October, Oksana Leonidova has taken over as Managing Director of TÜV NORD Scandinavia, headquartered in Helsingborg, Sweden. The company is an accredited inspection organisation with a focus on the in-service inspection of systems and components in power plants.
In her new position, Oksana Leonidova is responsible for all the activities of TÜV NORD Scandinavia and TÜV NORD Denmark, most of which take place in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. For the first three months, she will be supported by Dr Christian Neuhaus as deputy MD and director of the inspection department for Manufacturing and Process Technologies.
Oksana Leonidova joined TÜV NORD in 2014 when she became Managing Director of TÜV NORD Baltik. She had previously studied economics and business management at the University of Latvia and Greenwich College in London, business administration in Stockholm School of Economics and risk management in Riga Technical University. Oksana Leonidova had been director of the financial restructuring and recovery department at AS Swedbank. “Over the past few years, Oksana Leonidova has managed to both strengthen and broaden the portfolio of TÜV NORD Baltik. Her international approach and strong affinity with finance will help align TÜV NORD Scandinavia with the new international market conditions and our customer-oriented course of action,” says Dr Astrid Petersen, Managing Director of TÜV NORD EnSys and chair of the management board of TÜV NORD Scandinavia and TÜV NORD Denmark.
Oksana Leonidova succeeds Anders Egerbo, who will retire after many years of devotion to the cause of developing the business of TÜV NORD. Dr Astrid Petersen adds: “I would like to thank Anders Egerbo for his longstanding dedication and wish him and his family all the best for the future.”
