Hakan Sen.
On 1 August, Hakan Sen took over as General Manager of TÜV USA, headquartered in Salem/New Hampshire. The main focus of the company is on certification of management systems.
In his new position, Sen will also lead the AMERICAS Cluster in the Operative Business Segments (OBS) System Certification and Food & Agriculture. Hakan Sen succeeds Ralf Thomsen, who after three years in post is now returning to Germany to continue his career with TÜV NORD CERT – where he will take responsibility for global market development in the medical devices sector within the OBS System Certification. Hakan Sen, who has a degree in industrial engineering, began his career at TÜV NORD GROUP in 2005, in the International Certification division of TÜV NORD CERT. From 2011 to 2016 he was in charge of certification services and finally took the role of Deputy Manager in the services division.
