Tianyuan New Energy, subsidiary of Goldwind, is the first company in China to pass the TÜV NORD wind power O&M service capability assessment. The certificate was presented at the trade fair Wind Energy Operation & Maintenance China 2014.

TÜV NORD specialists have audited the service system and service quality of Tianyuan New Energy in accordance with the wind power O&M service standard. This standard includes for example health and safety regulations, the use of trained personnel, documentation requirements, inventory management, and the use of a competence matrix.

“Tianyuan is the first company in China to receive this certificate, showing that it delivers its diversified services at a high quality level”, says Alex Guo Zhu, TÜV NORD Greater China wind energy manager. “We see an increasing demand for an independent assessment of service capabilities. Several other companies are working on attaining this certification as well.”

Tianyuan New Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wind turbines. With 15,000 maintained turbines, Tianyuan is the leading turbine service provider in China.
