Siamo lieti di essere Partner del primo Report che valuta la performance di sostenibilità dei circuiti di gara internazionali.

Questo considerevole lavoro attinge a dati divulgati pubblicamente dai circuiti e raccolti nel periodo tra agosto e dicembre 2020. I 96 circuiti internazionali coinvolti sono stati valutati con 21 criteri di performance di sostenibilità nel contesto degli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite (SDGs), il quadro ambientale, sociale e di governance (ESG), obiettivi ambientali e sociali specifici del settore, premi e accreditamenti.

Il Sustainable Circuits Index™ (SCI) ha utilizzato solidi indicatori accuratamente calibrati e la convalida di parte terza di esperti dell'industria e del mondo accademico per fornire un quadro completo della sostenibilità delle sedi degli sport motoristici.

Il tema della sostenibilità è ancora relativamente nuovo nell'industria motorsport e i risultati mostrano che i circuiti hanno ancora molto lavoro davanti a loro, ma i cambiamenti verso un futuro più sostenibile sono già in corso.

                                                 A review of the sustainability of international racing circuits
                                                                                        2021 Edition

 

We are delighted to be Partner of the first-of-its-kind Report which assesses the sustainability performance of global race circuits.

This considerable paper draws on data publicly disclosed by circuits and collected between August and December 2020. The 96 international circuits involved were assessed against 21 sustainability performance criteria in the context of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework, industry specific environmental and social targets, awards and accreditations.

The Sustainable Circuits Index™ (SCI) has used carefully calibrated robust indicators and third-party validation from industry and academic experts to provide a comprehensive and robust overview of the sustainability of motorsport venues.

The topic of sustainability is still relatively new in the motorsport industry and the results show that global tracks still have a lot of work ahead of them, but the changes towards a more sustainable future are already here.
