The technical service provider TÜV NORD GROUP is looking to grow its business in the Mediterranean and Middle East Region. George Kechribaris, the Regional Manager for the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East Region, leads these activities from the new Regional Hub Office located in Athens. The expansion is to be achieved through organic growth primarily, but there are also concrete plans for targeted M&A activities.

Kechribaris studied at Imperial College, London, and Queen Mary College, University of London, and holds a degree in Engineering, a M.Sc. and an MBA. He has been Managing Director of TÜV HELLAS since 1996, a position which he still holds. The company has been offering testing, certification and training services since 1987.
Kechribaris will coordinate the TÜV NORD companies in his region from Athens. The region covers Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, UAE, Saudi Arabia and other states in the Middle East, parts of North Africa and the Balkans.
