Yves Schoen is the newly appointed Regional Manager for Europe at TÜV NORD GROUP. As of January 1, Schoen will head the recently formed Region Europe comprising 17 countries, strengthen its international growth strategy, both organically and by M&A, and develop cross-border synergies. He will report to Dirk Stenkamp, TÜV NORD GROUP Management Board member responsible for international business and the Industrial Services and IT business units.
Yves Schoen, a 44-year-old French and Swiss national, has many years' experience in technical B2B services. Since completing a Master's degree in engineering at “Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées”, a leading French “grande école”, and an MBA from the international business school INSEAD, Schoen has worked in various international general management, strategy and sales positions, as well as management consulting roles. Following on from positions as Global Practice Leader for Schlumberger (2001-2004), Director of Strategic Planning at Rexel (2005-2009), and Regional Managing Director at SGS with responsibility for the West Africa region (2009-2013), Schoen’s last position was Head of Business Development International at TÜV NORD GROUP.
Yves Schoen now heads the Region Europe, which includes the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxemburg, Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania.
Greece and Turkey are managed within the Region Mediterranean/Middle East by Regional Manager George Kechribaris from Athens.
