The Board of TÜV NORD Systems has been reorganised with effect from 1 April 2017. It now consists of Dr Ralf Jung as Chairman of the Board of Management, alongside Silvio Konrad, Yves Schoen and Ulf Theike. The previous chairman of the Board, Rudolf Wieland, has retired on 31 March 2017 after many years in the post. The Board of TÜV NORD Systems also manages the Industrial Services business unit of the TÜV NORD GROUP.

“We’re going to continue to advance the digital transformation of the TÜV NORD GROUP, with a stronger focus on the needs of our customers and professionalism in our sales activities alongside ongoing internationalisation and the development of innovative services,” says Dr Ralf Jung. With Dr Ralf Jung, Silvio Konrad, Yves Schoen and Ulf Theike, the Board of Management of TÜV NORD Systems will consist of four internationally experienced managers who know the TIC (testing, inspection, certification) market inside-out.

The Industrial Service business unit is the largest in the TÜV NORD GROUP. It covers testing, certification and further safety and quality-related inspections in the four segments of industry, energy, infrastructure, and people and the environment (Resources4Life). The areas of work include classic services such as the testing of industrial installations, power stations and lifts, the certification of wind turbines, railway technology and food and feed, along with emission measurements or occupational safety audits. The TÜV NORD GROUP is reorganising the Industrial Services business with its four internationally integrated segments with the aim of offering customers across the globe tailor-made solutions focused on their specific sectors.
