A lot has already been said about it – and the Digital Academy has now finally been launched. This is the next consistent step in the digital transformation of our Group. The inaugural event took place on 20/21 September in Ahaus.
The Digital Academy has two objectives. It will prepare our staff across all their various fields to satisfy the requirements of the future. At the same time, services will be tested in accordance with a set system to establish how they can be developed further in order to safeguard their competitiveness. The spotlight will be on existing services as well as on new products and services that will be created by our staff, themselves to be trained and instructed by our digital experts, in the course of the digital transformation. These 13 digital experts from all business units will be trained in Essen between now and December. Patron of the Digital Academy is Labour and HR Director Harald Reutter.
Shaping digitalisation
At the kick-off event entitled “TÜV NORD GROUP – Shaping Digitalisation” at the Tobit Software Campus in Ahaus, the Group Executive Committee, executives and influencers (multipliers) gathered initially to discuss changes to business models, future technologies and new product solutions. Innovative project ideas were identified.
