ALTER TECHNOLOGY receives prize from the regional government

Susana Diáz, President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, gives the award to Luis Gómez, General Manager of ATN.

ALTER TECHNOLOGY (ATN) has received a prize in recognition of its international outlook and innovative character from the Cartuja Science and Technology Park in Seville. The technology park is the result of a joint initiative on the part of the city and the region, both of which continue to support it. Andalusia has a total of eleven similar technology parks. The prize has now been awarded for the fifth time.

ATN has had its headquarters in the former Korean Pavilion, which was built for Expo 92 in Seville, in the Cartuja Science and Technology Park since 1993. The company started in 1993 with 40 employees; today it employs more than 250 highly qualified staff in Seville, Madrid and abroad. The company’s clients come from all over the world and include major space agencies and aircraft manufacturers.

In the presence of other high-ranking representatives of the regional government and the city, the President of the Andalusian regional government, Susana Díaz, handed over the statuette to ATN’s General Manager, Luis Gómez. She highlighted the achievements of ATN in terms of innovation, research and qualified training. Mr Gómez in turn thanked all the ATN staff, without whom the company's success would not have been possible.
