Song Haining, General Manager of the TÜV NORD Greater China System Certification business unit, issued a VDA 6.1 and ISO 9001 quality management system certificate for Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. The ceremony was attended by Olaf Korzinovski, Technical General Manager, Oliver Stitou, Business General Manager, Thomas Pape, Quality Assurance Director and others. The audit expert group despatched by TÜV NORD successfully completed the audit of Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. at the end of 2017.

Ltd. has been awarded this quality management system certificate,” said Mr Korzinovski. “From the very start we’ve emphasised quality, whether in our planning or employee training, and are devoted to the causes of durability, reliability and the very highest quality. VWATJ is advancing green development and is a role model for quality management, and this audit performed by TÜV NORD has confirmed our success in reaching those goals,” said Olaf Korzinovski.
Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group in China. Products are geared to various popular domestic car models of the Volkswagen, Audi and Škoda brands. In November 2014, the company started production of the latest generation of highly advanced dual-clutch gearboxes.
VDA 6.1 is a quality management standard implemented by the German automotive industry. Based on the principles laid down in the ISO 9001 standard, the VDA 6 series of standards meets the needs of the automotive industry.
