The Digital Academy

We shape our future together: The Digital Academy is a skills programme for all TÜV NORD GROUP employees. The Digital Academy pursues four main objectives:

  1. Creating awareness and enthusiasm for the digital transformation
  2. Empower managers and employees for digital change
  3. Building group-wide communities and networks
  4. Making digital impact visible and tangible

We started with the question: How do we manage the digital cultural change in a company with 150 years of tradition? And, what role does cultural change play in the context of digitalization?

Digitalization does not end with the use of digital tools, but begins there. Employees and managers must be prepared for the comprehensive digital transformation. The structures and the culture in the company must be fundamentally developed further for this purpose.

At TÜV NORD Digital Academy, we empower managers and employees to actively shape the digital transformation in terms of culture, organization and working methods.

Awarded with the Deutsche Exzellenzpreis 2020 in the category "Transformation".

The Deutsche Exzellenzpreis is awarded annually in cooperation with the Handelsblatt Media Group and the news channel n-tv. It honors outstanding ideas, products and services in the digital transformation. This year, more than 400 applications were submitted.
