Thomas Mück takes over as Managing Director of TÜV NORD Akademie

Thomas Mück took over the management of TÜV NORD Akademie on 1 February and is also the designated CEO of the TÜV NORD GROUP's People & Empowerment Business Unit. He succeeds Axel Dreckschmidt, who will be leaving the Group as planned on 30 June 2026. With Thomas Mück at the helm, TÜV NORD Akademie is sending a clear signal of new beginnings, innovative strength and future viability in vocational training.

In his new role, Thomas Mück will consistently drive forward the digitalisation of TÜV NORD Akademie. This includes VR and AI-supported training formats, innovative hybrid learning models and flexible, modular forms of learning that are geared towards the real needs of companies and learners. At the same time, the internationalisation of the service portfolio is to be further expanded in order to provide even more targeted support to customers worldwide.
