Contract of Dirk Stenkamp extended

Dirk Stenkamp (59) will continue as Chairman of the Board of Management of TÜV NORD AG for a further five years beyond December 31, 2022. The Supervisory Board decided to extend his contract in its meeting on January 5, 2022.

Dirk Stenkamp, who holds a doctorate in physics, moved from centrotherm photovoltaics AG to the Board of Management of TÜV NORD GROUP in 2013, and became Chairman of the Board in 2017.

TÜV NORD GROUP has so far successfully mastered the pandemic phase with innovative services. For example, new computer-assisted audits and inspections were introduced using remote technologies, through which mandatory and voluntary audits can be carried out without contact. The establishment of a digital online campus has enabled training and further education courses to continue.

In 2020, TÜV NORD GROUP achieved revenues of 1.26 billion euros, and EBIT amounted to 47.8 million euros. The company is active in more than 100 countries and employs 14,000 people. In addition to the Chairman, Dirk Stenkamp, the Board of Management includes Jürgen Himmelsbach (Finance) and Astrid Petersen (Human Resources).
