TÜV NORD issues the world's first certificate in accordance with the new IECRE Certification Guideline

7 November 2018 | Energy: Sinoma Blade received the first certificate according the new certification scheme IECRE OD501.

Hamburg/Beijing: Sinoma Wind Power Blade, one of the leading rotor blade manufacturers in China, received the worldwide first component certificate according the new Type and Component Certification Scheme IECRE OD501.

At the China Wind Power in Beijing, TÜV NORD handed over the world's first component certificate in accordance with the latest certification guideline for wind turbines IECRE OD-501 to Sinoma Blade.

In September 2018, the IECRE OD501 replaced the established IEC 61400-22. Within the transfer phase, TÜV NORD was able to issue the new component certificate for the Si59.5D rotor blade within a very short time, based on an existing IEC 61400-22 certificate, and to hand it over in due time.
