Founded in 2009 as a subsidiary of RAG Bildung Saar, now TÜV NORD Bildung, in Lorraine, Formation SaarLor recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The company is based in Forbach, France. The key idea behind its launch was to create qualification opportunities on the German labour market both for French job seekers and Germans living in Lorraine. Approximately 300 participants qualify each year in the context of cross-border projects, for which the two general managers Corina Mörsdorf and Harry Laufer are responsible. The anniversary was celebrated in a festive setting, with welcoming addresses and social gatherings rounding off the festivities.
