The pilot project entitled “Videos about people and jobs in the Group” was launched last year to communicate the diversity of the work people do in the Group. These interviews with employees from different areas and fields, which were filmed in collaboration with an external partner (Whatchado), are being published on Whatchado’s online platform as well as disseminated on Group-wide Internet sites.

Companies can use Whatchado to present the diversity of their work in video interviews with their staff. This allows visitors to the site to gather specific information about job profiles or employers and to fill in questionnaires to match them with job profiles. The interview questions refer, for example, to career paths, the “coolest” aspects of a job and day-to-day professional activity.

For the TÜV NORD GROUP, this platform is an important element in its efforts to improve its image and attractiveness as an employer. There are currently 23 videos featuring TÜV NORD GROUP staff members in Germany, four of which have been recorded in English. This year, the project is entering a new phase: in February, the first staff videos from the broader international Group context were shot.

The new videos, which were made in Spain (Madrid), introduce people and jobs in the Aerospace business unit. With the support of Marcia Arizaga, the staff member responsible for communication at ALTER TECHNOLOGY, impressions were collected from colleagues from Spain, the United Kingdom and France.

“We’re delighted to have the opportunity to show the world our international diversity with these videos featuring staff of the ALTER TECHNOLOGY GROUP. This will help us put ourselves across as an internationally attractive employer and create a basis for the timely recruitment of new talent,” says Triin Tint, head of Employer Branding & Sourcing in the Talent Management Corporate Centre.

These videos are important especially for career sites and online job ads. They have enabled the Group to fulfil the requirements of the Online Talent Communication study conducted by Swedish research company Potentialpark, from which the Group has received a number of awards this year. In the overall rankings, the TÜV NORD GROUP is in 19th place out of a field of over 140 companies.

The new videos will be available online in the coming weeks, e.g. on the Whatchado platform: www.whatchado.com/en/channels/tuev-nord-group
